the hols are coming to an end ... i'm left with 4 more working days before returning to the office next week ...

dread ...

it's been pretty relaxing so far ... i spent almost an entire day in front of the lappie ... mostly web surfing ... there are so many interesting design/fashion/creative blogs out there ... i just kept clicking link to link non-stop ... i lost track ... while drooling/oohing + ahhing in between ...

the ones that i have been looking are mainly US or UK based sites ... why is it that the ang-mohs do it better than us (Singaporeans or Asians in general ... lets leave the Japs out of this)? they are just so inspirational ... could it be the 4 seasons? the countryside? the nostalgic/quaint/sometimes grunge environment that they live in? the lassez-faire way of life? i just don't get it ... this is something that i have been grappling for years ... i don't understand why they are more creative than us ...

overcame the inertia and managed to whip up the sewing machine to come up with some new belts using the materials that i got from HK ... haven't decided whether to keep them or to sell them ...

and while watching the finals of Singapore Idol, i completed the painstaking task of sewing these diamante beads onto ribbons to create a necklace ...

just love days like this where i get to do creative stuff and feel satisfied thereafter :)
