Hong Kong Part I

This is Hong Kong ... my visit so far ...

Feasting

Kikuzen at Pacific Place ... for some very good teppanyaki ...

V Best at SOHO ... again for some very good home-cooked fare without MSG (yea, we are trying to eat more heathily but i'm making up for the MSG with my daily intake of chips) ... love the carrot soup + the spinach wantons which were very sweet!

Chocolux ... my banana + choc crepe was To Die For (TDF) ... my new slang ... get used to it :)

Shopping

my credit card is yearning ... my bank account is bleeding ...

Oggling

not at boys but at the pretty + interesting shops that i have seen so far ...

G.O.D is one of my fav shops in HK ... its the equivalent of Habitat in the UK ...

made my usual pilgrimage to Lane Crawford at IFC Mall ... it is the fashion mecca in HK ... i dare say it is on par with (if not better than) Galeries Lafayette in Paris ... can hardly afford any of the beautiful clothes there ... but i love the place all the same ... the visual display is fantastic ... very eye-catching and bewitching ... its also houses all the best ready-to-wear labels under one roof ... its a great place to get inspired if you are in the fashion biz ...

i also love SOHO for all its nifty and quaint lil' shops ... some pics below (click to enlarge) ...

also had the opportunity to visit the HK Watch + Clock Exhibition ... very interesting ... quite an eye-opener ... layout was good and more well organized as compared to the rest of the fairs that i have attended so far ...

currently the weather here kinda sux ... its been raining every single day and i have had to brave the rain every time i leave the apt ... am hoping for sunny skies next week :)
