polling ... polling ... gone
oh dear, i lost my polling card! well, actually, i think i accidentally threw it away ... got me into a frenzy, trying to recall what actually happened to the card ...
oops! too excited ... first time voting :)
checked the elections website and it seems that if one fails to vote, the right to vote is lost forever!
quote from the elections website :
"... you cannot vote at any subsequent presidential or parliamentary election, and you are disqualified from being a candidate at any subsequent presidential or parliamentary election. "
oh man! so i'd better vote then, otherwise my say in this country is totally lost ... or worse, i lose my chance of being a future political candidate ... yah right!
